Field Day
When? Friday June 1 2018 – Saturday June 2 2018
Where? Brockwell Park
What? Changing from its usual residence at Victoria Park, the annual Field Day festival will be held for the first time in its history at Brockwell Park in Brixton. The outdoor festival has become one of London’s best music festivals over the past decade and has sold out every year since its inception in 2007. As well as the music, Field day lays on a variety of fun and games, such as a tug-of-war, eating competitions, sack races and a tombola.
West End Live
When? Saturday June 16 2018 – Sunday June 17 2018
Where? Trafalgar Square
What? If you’re a musical theatre fan then head down to Trafalgar square for an open-air weekend of free performances from the casts of some of London’s best West End Musicals. The alfresco performances will include songs from long standing musical favourites as well new shows – The Tina Turner Musical, Strictly Ballroom and Chicago which are among the new shows announced in the line-up for this year’s show.
Royal Ascot
When? 19th – 23rd June
Where? Ascot, Berkshire
What? If you want an excuse to dress up for the day then head out to the glamourous, world-famous Royal Ascot race meeting. Britain’s most popular race meeting attracts the world’s finest racehorses, jockeys and trainers for five days of top-class racing. You will also have the chance to spot members of the Royal Family, including the Queen herself who often attends the event.

What? Take in the views of London’s skyline along the River Thames whilst watching your favourite movies at London’s first ever cinema on the Thames. Enjoy classics such as ‘Dirty Dancing’, ‘Jaws’, ‘Romeo & Juliet’, and the new critically acclaimed films ‘The Greatest Showman’ and ‘Dunkirk’.
London Open Garden Squares Weekend
Where? Multiple locations around London
When? Early to mid-June.
What? For one weekend only, over 200 of London’s secret and private gardens and squares are opening their doors to the public. Take advantage of exploring London’s exclusive boroughs and small oasis’ in the city of London.
Wimbledon Tennis Championships
When? Qualifying begins 25th June (last week of June and the first week of July).
Where? Wimbledon
What? This historic Grand Slam event takes place in a leafy corner of southwest London. one of the most prestigious tennis tournaments in the world. If you don’t manage to get tickets to the packed out event, there are multiple places around central London such as, kings cross, Paddington and Wapping to watch the event on big screens for free.

Taste of London, 13-17 June, Regent’s Park
